Affordable Websites for online shopping
I love to shop online because it keeps me in check with my budget. I often find that when I wonder out into larger retailers like Target, Walmart, or even our local mall, I end up buying additional items and spending more money. In an effort to keep my budget in check, I like to depend on my online shopping retailers. I can still shop at those retailers, but often do so on line. I look for what I need and simply buy just those items without browsing or catching my eye on something else on the way to that aisle.
A website that I wanted to share is Hollar and it helped me through the holiday season and also with kids birthday presents. They are inexpensive and their inventory changes a bit. After I purchased my first few items, I started getting emails with discount codes which brought down my savings significantly.
In addition, I like to check out their $1 section for future gifts as my kids are always bringing home birthday party invites. I like to keep a basket in my closet with a few gifts for those occasions. Or, in some cases, my oldest will tell me the day before that one of her friends birthday is tomorrow and can she give them something.
One of my favorite finds with a cute Eagles hero cape. I had it in the closet for the past few weeks not quite sure what I wanted to do with it, then my youngest brought home a flyer from school which stated they were to dress up like a super hero. She wore it with pride and was very happy to get it!
I paid only $4 for it and since she is continuing to wear it during the days where the Eagles play, it was worth every penny!
So check out Hollar and maybe you can find some treasures of your own and a good deal!

Do you know if a product you use has been recalled?
I stumbled upon this very helpful website a while back and have recently decided to connect with them via my twitter for valuable updates. Do you know how many products we use that have been recalled? There are sooo many on this helpful website! I find if I have a product that has been recalled, it's very helpful to return the item or sometimes they have you register for a new free product. So it could save you money, time, or prevent a mishap to check this site every now and then. Product Recalls

Save Money Monthly with gift cards!
In order to stay on budget, many people use cash. I totally agree with that if you know you have self control issues with utilizing your credit card. This is a great way to stay on the budget bandwagon! An additional savings to you monthly, is the buy gift cards for places you know you would frequent anyway. For example, if I know I am going to Publix each month, I will buy myself a discounted gift card online and save an additional 6-10% off my grocery bill. There are several gift card sites, but the one I tend to use the most because their savings seems to be a higher percentage is CardPool.
This is a great way to plan some of your vacation budget as well. I just purchased several restaurant gift cards from a few chain restaurants that I know will be along the I-95 route I will be traveling. It's a great way to save even if it's just 5% because I figure that pays for the taxes at least! That's 5% more in my pocket.

I went ahead and created my own personalized deck of playing cards for my upcoming Daughter's birthday. I did have to pay $7.99 for shipping so it's not, what I like to call, "ZERO FREE".
But wait, at checkout I created a VISA Checkout account which was so super simple and with doing that I was emailed a $20 off my next purchase offer through Shutterfly. So minus the shipping, I feel like I got $12 worth of freebies in the end!
Have fun creating your free playing cards and it does make for a nice unique gift.

Adventures of Aldi
I think pretty much everyone is aware of Awesome Aldi! I often toggle back and forward between Publix, Fresh Market, and Aldi. I made a promise to myself to start using Aldi as my main go to place for groceries. They now accept credit cards, which is great! I don't believe in financing groceries so I don't, but it's nice to have the convenience and pay them later at pay day :)
