Save Money Monthly with gift cards!

In order to stay on budget, many people use cash.  I totally agree with that if you know you have self control issues with utilizing your credit card.  This is a great way to stay on the budget bandwagon!  An additional savings to you monthly, is the buy gift cards for places you know you would frequent anyway.  For example, if I know I am going to Publix each month, I will buy myself a discounted gift card online and save an additional 6-10% off my grocery bill.  There are several gift card sites, but the one I tend to use the most because their savings seems to be a higher percentage is CardPool.

This is a great way to plan some of your vacation budget as well.  I just purchased several restaurant gift cards from a few chain restaurants that I know will be along the I-95 route I will be traveling.  It's a great way to save even if it's just 5% because I figure that pays for the taxes at least!  That's 5% more in my pocket.

FREE Playing Cards with your FREE Ikea Family Membership

Working my way through my the bottomless obis of my inbox, I found a great deal from my Ikea Family Membership.  If you don't have an Ikea Family Membership, you are missing out!  I often get free food, coupons, and other great little benefits just for signing up for their free program.  So here's how I got what I consider one great #MamasGoodDeals offer!

From the email:
"Just for IKEA FAMILY Members:
Make Dad's day with a free set of personalized playing cards.
ENTER CODE AT
www.shutterfly.com/ikeacards
KF2P-F3U2-ZHSF-FE3MYR  (I do not know if this is a one time code or same for all people)
Offer ends June 30"

I went ahead and created my own personalized deck of playing cards for my upcoming Daughter's birthday.  I did have to pay $7.99 for shipping so it's not, what I like to call, "ZERO FREE".

But wait, at checkout I created a VISA Checkout account which was so super simple and with doing that I was emailed a $20 off my next purchase offer through Shutterfly.  So minus the shipping, I feel like I got $12 worth of freebies in the end!

Have fun creating your free playing cards and it does make for a nice unique gift.
